About

We put education first

Polaris Education Foundation was founded in California in 2022 by six professionals who understood that the gap in student achievement is not one of intelligence, but of resources.

Display panels and a long wall of framed student paintings at the exhibition, with a visitor looking closely at one.

Our mission

To help young people — especially from low-income families — make their way from elementary school to high school, and arrive ready for college.

We combine tutoring, mentoring and enrichment with a culture of high standards: we raise expectations, broaden dreams, and give students a toolkit for what comes next.

What we do

  • Harmony of Hearts

A free annual exhibition of K–12 art from across the Inland Empire, now in its fourth year.

  • Programs by grade

Little Star, A+ Star and the Rising Star college-readiness program.

  • Polaris Youth Council

Students who lead our clubs, events and media.

What we ask our students to focus on

  • Academics
  • Integrity
  • Impact
  • Innovation
